Ur Aua Hehimetu Ra Enkamit, PhD
Executive Director
Ur Aua Hehimetu Ra Enkamit, PhD has been the Executive Director of ACE since 2019, and brings over 40 years of executive leadership and community development experience to the Board of Directors.
He is a graduate of Howard University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in African American Studies and a Masters of Education from Howard. Ur Aua has also earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in African Art and Culture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana West Africa.
An international change agent, Ur Aua is Director of Adult Education of the Oracle of Tehuti and Divine Wisdom Educational Services with programs serving communities across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Africa. He is United States Correspondent to The Royal Magazine of Kumasi, Ghana. Ur Aua is also Executive Director of Rebuild Africa Marketing Environmentally Sustainable Economic Solutions (RAMESES).
Under Ur Aua’s leadership two schools were established, spanning a period of 27 years. He was the founder and Director of A-T Seban Mesut School and Chairman of the Board of Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Public Charter School. Senbeb Natural Foods, the oldest continually running black owned business of its kind, was also created under his leadership to serve the community.
Dr. Ur Aua is an accomplished lecturer who has spoken throughout the United States, Canada, England, the Caribbean and Africa. He is also an accomplished author, writing several books and publications: The Itongo Speaks (1979), African Names (1993), Divine Kingship of Asante: A Model of Sustainable Development and Community (2016), A Virgin Meadows Winter’s Prayer: A Story About Love (2022), Yes We CANcer (2022), The Adventures of Yao and Honey: A Good Night Story (2023), and several others.
