Gregory Foy has been dedicated to and has worked extensively in providing personal growth and development information and services to the African American community. Over the past 42 years he has taught classes in various subjects such as health and nutrition, African spiritual philosophy, meditation, and relationships. He has also conducted personal development classes for youth, assisted in management of a men’s collective, and served as a counselor. He helped found, organize and manage Senbeb Natural Foods & Vegetarian Café.

Via formal education Mr. Foy received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Howard University and also completed course work towards a Masters in Nutrition at Howard.

For 28 years he served as staff person and administrator of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program in the DC Government Department of Health and also the Office on Aging.

Mr. Foy’s strong leadership skills, community advocacy, and commitment to improving the health, growth and development of youth and the community are exceptional contributions to the ACE Board of Directors.
