Deborah Page is the Secretary of Association for Cultivation and Education (ACE). She has volunteered in many leadership and support capacities to benefit youth, family and community. Deborah’s passion to nurture youth and family began as a youth Sunday School teacher when she was a teenager. Completion of Leadership York (PA) - a leadership training program focused on developing nonprofit leaders to serve on boards and committees, further prepared Deborah for over 30 years of service to the community. She is a founding member of York’s Kwanzaa Unity Fest and continues to volunteer in the DC Metro Kwanzaa community, as well as teach and co-administrate youth Sunday School. Deborah continues her dedication to family, community and youth as President and founder of Blue Lotus Cultural Institute, Inc.
While Deborah has devoted decades to youth enrichment efforts, she has had a long successful career in insurance after graduating from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude. She has worked over 40 years in the industry in technical and leadership capacities with professional recognition in the industry as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter); CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor); and Certified Insurance Adviser.
Deborah’s unique knowledge of business, coupled with her devotion to youth, family and community development, add an important skillset to the ACE Board of Directors.
