Gwendolyn Payton

Mrs. Gwendolyn Payton is family and community oriented with more than 45 years of service in the community. As an educator, she has provided direct services to students, families, and community members in Washington, DC. Her vision is to support and inspire individuals in search of excellence in academics, character, and nation building. She has served as an elementary school teacher, assistant principal, and principal in Washington, DC. She has taught meditation and other self-awareness and personal development courses in the community throughout the years.
Through the years, Ms. Payton has served on the Board of the Washington Nationals' Youth Baseball Academy, Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Public Charter School, and A-T Seban Mesut School. Ms. Payton has also served on the Advisory Board of The University of the District of Columbia's Early Childhood Department, Associate of Arts degree program.
Ms. Payton also served as an Advisory Member for DC Public Schools (Early Childhood). Currently Ms. Payton is an active member on the board of The Blue Lotus Cultural Institute as well as The Association for Cultivation and Education (ACE). Ms. Payton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a Specialization in Early Childhood from York College in Jamaica, NY; Master's Degree in Early Childhood from the University of the District of Columbia; Master's Degree in Administration from Trinity University, DC and an Executive Master's in Leadership from Georgetown University, Ms. Payton is eager to support the mission, vision, and efforts of The Association for Cultivation and Education (ACE). She looks forward to being a contributor in ACE’s success in the years to come.
